We put together a list of 23 politicians breaking their own lockdown rules, while expecting people to obey them.

Here’s our favorite five.

1. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D). State guidelines limited private gatherings, yet Newsom was caught, without masks, indoors at an extremely high-end restaurant with lobbyists. Some entrees at that restaurant cost half a thousand dollars.

2. Chicago Mayor, Lori Lightfoot (D). Got a haircut from a professional stylist in April while salons were shut down under the state's stay-at-home order.

3. New York Gov. Cuomo (D). Discouraged New Yorkers from family gatherings ahead of Thanksgiving, then planned for his family to gather. He canceled his plans after backlash.

4. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D). Had her hair styled at a San Francisco hair salon, which was in violation of her own Covid-19 restrictions. She claimed she was set up.

5. D.C. Mayor, Muriel Bowser. Bowser was accused of breaking her own travel rules to travel to congratulate Biden. She claimed it was essential travel.
